I like to watch what is coming technologically. Periodically I will try and highlight some of these.
The first is Cloud Computing. Wikipedia link. Amazon seems to be doing well providing this for the business market. Google is doing well in the consumer markets. Everyone should keep an eye on Microsoft with their Azure initiative.
Everyone (home, business, school, etc.) will be affected by these one way or another.
IT employees need to watch this as this is probably the next wave of outsourcing….
