President Reagan said the best way to understand a trillion dollars is to imagine a crisp, new stack of $1000 bills.
If you had a stack four inches high, youd be a millionaire. A trillion-dollar stack of $1000 bills would measure just over 63 miles high.

Hello world!
I’ve decided to create my own blog. Historically I send emails out to folks – kind of a spammer I guess. I thought I would try this approach rather than sending everything via email.
The topics I intend to cover are miscellaneous things like the economy, finance, sports, advice, humor, etc. I don’t see this being focused on one particular topic, but rather an ecclectic collection of things I find interesting.
We’ll see how it goes!
