The Dow set an alltime record today (Mar. 5, 2013). The last time the Dow / Stock Market was this high was in Oct. 2007. Here are some interesting statistics comparing then vs now.

There are some very troubling numbers in there – and the trend is not good. It appears that the Quantitative Easing the Fed has been doing is creating a bubble or multiple bubbles that will be very scary when they pop.

Why do supermarkets make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front?

Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour?
Why isn’t there mouse-flavored cat food?
Why didn’t Noah swat those two mosquitoes?
Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections?
You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don’t they make the whole plane out of that stuff??
Why don’t sheep shrink when it rains?
Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

Amazing Kite-flying – 3 at a time – all synchronized
The guy (Ray Bethell) flying the 3 kites is in his 80’s, and he’s from Canada. He comes to the Washington State International Kite Festival every year. His skin is like leather as he normally flies with his shirt off. He is deaf, so when he flies we hold our hands up and wave them for applause. He flies 2 with his hands and the 3rd one is attached to his waist. Enjoy!
